Sick, Dead, Big Head, Big Time Dickwad
My title makes no sense to me, it was just the lyrics I heard when I started this so I put them down......It's from a song by Cex called Brer Ryjan. I love Cex, Nikki got to see him once, and I'm jealous. I'm so bored right now and I figured I hadn't written in here in a while so hey why not. I talked to Michelle today, that was good, it always makes me happy to talk to her. I'm kinda sick right now. I didn't have to work today though so I got to sleep haha I slept until almost 4, I feel a little better than last night. I went to two concerts last week, well three, but one local one and two in Buffalo. I got to see The Sleeping/The Black Maria/Action Action/Bayside on Wednesday. All the bands were amazing, except Bayside, they were just kind of boring and not much fun. The Black Maria get better every time I see them. I was simply blown away at how good they were this time. I saw them about a month ago too and they weren't that great. Good band though. I was also very impressed with The Sleeping. I hadn't ever really heard anything by them, but they were quite good live and made me feel good haha that sounds gay but it's true, I like them a lot. Then Action Action played and they were amazing, stupid annoying little 12 year olds in front of us though, I hate annoying people at shows. Action Action had awesome Christmas lights on their equipment and it was sweet eh Alex? I also got the best sweater ever, it's pink and black and obviously says Action Action on it. So tight and emoish I suppose haha but I love it. The second night was Before Today/Liars Academy/Name Taken/The Beautiful Mistake. This show was alright but not half as good as the show the night before, which was really surprising to me. Before Today was quite good but I don't know if I really enjoy simple fast songs all the time. Liars Academy played next and I think the lead singer hates the drummer. He was kind of being a bitch though, like they played two songs and then he said it was their last song. He just kept bitching at the drummer the entire time too. I think they played maybe 5 songs, short set, but I can't enjoy bands when they're not enjoying themselves, very disappointing, but oh well. So next was the amazing Name Taken haha and they were amazing indeed. The drummer wasn't such a freak out this time though haha that kinda made me sad. But they played really well and I got to sing along to all the songs haha I was happy. The Beautiful Mistake played next and it was really weird cause they headlined but not many people seemed into them. Name Taken seemed to be more of the crowd pleaser. All the members of the other bands were having fun watching TBM so that was cool, good to see bands caring about other bands and having fun. I got to talk to the one member of Name Taken for a while and he was a really nice guy. He said that the two NT shows we've been to haven't been very good. I thought they were, but he said they've played way better shows closer to home and stuff. Makes sense. Then there was a local show on Friday. I had to work so I only got to see Wintersleep and Hoosier Poet. They were both really awesome. Met some girl that I really wish I knew her name so I could talk to her again haha but oh well what can ya do? But this entry's really long so I'm gunna end it now and maybe write more tomorrow after my 11 hour work day haha so we'll see. Good times, I think Christmas hours at work might kill me or something haha but whatever, more money for me and that means I'll be able to visit Andrew for sure.
