I found a new band/CD that I am in love with. Big shocker, right? It's the Gaslight Anthem, and I can listen to the whole thing over and over.
In other news there's nothing new. No one has jobs and I'm still at the same shitty one.
Jason and I have been playing City of Heroes/Villains. We made a leveling pact with our villains so one won't get ahead of the other, it's pretty nifty. Our characters are kinda matching too with black and dark purple. :)
I visited my friend from work who's on maternity leave, I really miss her at work. Her baby is doing good though, it was almost two months early. A gamer friend of Jason & I's had a baby too... I'm noticing a trend. We are surrounded by people with kids. I'm thinking that's why we don't have any kind of urge to have our own anytime soon. Not to mention mixing Jason and I together would turn into one stubborn weird ass kid.
We got our tax return back a few weeks ago, that was awesome. We each took $100 to buy what we wanted and then spent $100 on pool and going out to eat. Then we paid off a couple bills and I'm going to get some new tires this weekend. Then with whatever is left we're going to put into savings. I figure we're saving to move or for a home... or both!
I'm still using my Wii Fit regularly and my tummy is sore. I think I did too many jackknives the other night...
I started reading another book in the Forgotten Realms series. I am loving them, and Jason said I would. What's funny is that these are the books Seth and Gary would constantly talk about in high school and I'd just roll my eyes at them. I usually only read on my breaks at work, so I don't get through them that fast but I think I'm on the 10th in the series now. So not too bad. :) Oh yes, I highly recommend them!
My Auntie Jaquie sent Jason and I a late wedding gift, but it was hand made so we forgave her. haha It's awesome it has our initials at the top and it says "He loved her for everything she was... and she let him stay for a very, very, very long time." She put it in a nice black and red frame too. I need to get a nail so I can hang it up so I see it every time I leave the room. :)
