Life is good
Quick update. Went to Kennywood Fright Nights with Jen, and we didn't get to see everything because the lines were too long. I did see more haunted houses than I did last year. I was off the next day and we went to church. Then Mom and I went to the fabric store and I spent $43 on fabric for my red riding hood cape that I could have just paid $9.99 for at the halloween store. Now I'm starting to wonder if that was a mistake but really I could go out drinking and wasting my money and at least this will be one of a kind made with love. I'm glad I got the fabric for 1/2 price. It was the surger thread that really uped the price $13. I could have bought 2 spools of regular thread for a dollar or get the stuff for mom for the extra. I figured now she'll have red instead of just black and white. I know she won't use all of it, probably not even 1/2.
So today is Monday and I'm off. Really not looking forward to working tomorrow. Every time I think that I have to work alone all day I get depressed but at the same time I know I can handle it. I don't know why I worry about things that haven't happened yet. So today I cut the grass in the back yard and picked up sticks in the front. I finally started cleaning my room after I threw all my halloween options in the middle of my floor and never got some of that put away. My room looks much better now. The problem is as of now and always keeping it this way. I need to clean off the top of my dresser but really I don't see that happening any time soon. I thought about calling Jen but I decided if I do I'll wait till after supper. I don't really know what I would want to do. I just want to be a bum on my days off.
Mom is making my cape right now I'm pretty excited about that.
