Different twist today at work. I got a 30 cent raise. I suppose that is ok, considering the average person in my department ranged from 2% to 4% and mine being a 2%. I also make more than a lot others in the office, because I came in at a higher pay rate. Still, I am shocked, I was not expecting a raise until at least June. I didn't really know what to expect when the boss told me to come down to his office. The only thing that he told me that I could do better was not be so quiet. Eh, guess he is right. Once the conversion project is over I can become a leader and teach the new people how we do things. It took a lot of the first part of last year to get my own self settled in this new environment, get through the long days and crappy co-workers, before I was able to reach out. Anyway, I got a raise today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
