An update on my life since 5th June

I are shit at blogging!

Right then, since the 5th of June I haaaaaaaaaaave...

Passed my A Levels, so glad to be out of York college because that place was killing me but I have noticed that I've been missing it. It's mostly because I've got used to Zoe and Anna and actually learning in a tight nit group of people, on the other hand I'm so glad to be gone especially since YC were rubbish at admin and the Help desk Lady needed to attend a course in Customer Service, the Shop Assistant in me was outraged at her Customer Service skills! Le Sainsbury's takes that side of things very seriously and I think it may have snuck into my head! Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!

I got into York St John University! HUZZAH!! Yeah, it's pretty good but I find that lectures aren't as personal as the ones at YC (one of the reasons I miss being there sometimes) but the Lecturers are nice and the courses are fun, especially History! Because History is amazing! WE LOVE HISTORY!!! So there! Theology is also quite amazing and I've rediscovered my love for theology after that nasty A2 John's Gospel exam. Plus we went on an amazing trip last week, Rievaulx. Mount Grace Priory and Ampleforth (which is an actual working monastery with Monk! HOW AWESOME IS THAT?!!) I've only just started my essay for History and I should really get on with my Theology time line, think I'm halfway through it. Yay! :-)

I have been promoted at work which isn't as amazing as one would think. I was on a smelly course from 9 til 3 on Retail Law, which was mind numbingly boring. However, we did have chips and shed loads of coffee so I guess that makes up for it! Not only that but my stupid fucking Store Manager (Tango) oh so conveniently forgot to tell the Duty Manager that I was on a course and, therefore, wasn't in to at 6pm I got a phone call asking me where I was, so I had to go in because they were short staffed, thank you Tango for giving Richard the night off! She's the Store Manager! She's being paid to manage the store and the people in it! I despair!!!! DESPAIR!!!!

Anyway, yeah. Now a CTS in training. That is Customer Trading and Support, basically Sainsbury's for Supervisor. I ran shift tonight with Mike (our Deputy Manager) making sure I didn't burn the shop down, whic wi'll most likely happen when I run it solo and then Tango will ritually sacrifice me to her Sainsbury's God. All I did was break a handset (clever, but Mike magically fixed it. Oooooooooo) and wrote off some celery and satsumas. I blame Trevor for the Satsumas because he said that they were oranges, which they clearly weren't. Lol!

I has rats! How could I forget about my babies?!? I got them round about August time, bless em. I went into Pets at Home to get a Hamster origianlly, but I saw these guys and had to have them. I got two because the fit (don't tell Chris) pet shop guy said that they lived in pairs and they were the only two left. I've called them Jasper and Edmund. Edmund is veeeeery shy and when he's out you've got to move very slowly otherwise he'll jump a mile and scurry back to his hammock. Jasper is the complete opposite and will insist that the muffins you are eating are his and that it's a good idea to attempt to scale the DVD rack to see what's at the top. He's so far managed to discover the entire front room and, yesterday, discovered the stairs. He's such a handful, bless him! My ratties are amazing little blighters and I'm going to get them some toys for christmas...wonder hoe they'll react to a ball? Hmmmmm.....

That's about it really.....four significant moments in my life. I'm going to have to try to update this once a week. I know! I'll put it in my phone for every Saturday/Sunday! What I great idea! Whoop whoop!
