I'm off to another nerd-convention the weekend after next! This is a
United Nations Youth Association one. As far as I can tell, we all get a country and spend two days roleplaying that country in a whole lot of political debates. This year's theme is "development", and I got Singapore. I'm pretty excited.
Tomorrow is moderation day ( = day off for all ACT public college students)! I have to work in the afternoon and then go to CIT in the evening, but in the morning I'm going to do my Psych assignment (due next Tuesday; I'm getting a bit desperate) and/or make dinner for the others to reheat in the evening (I'm such a selfless daughter/sister! They probably won't even save me any. Bah.) and/or go to the movies (sooo tempted. I want to see Bella, and I haven't been to the cinema in weeks. But can I sacrifice the homework!time? D: ).
Anyway, it's also Canberra Day next Monday, then Good Friday in week 7, Easter Monday in week 8, and I have an all-day SLG excursion in week 9... meaning that I don't have a full five-day week until week 10, and then it's the holidays! Win.
However, I'm making up for that this week and next... I think I have either UNYA training or SLG meetings every lunchtime that I'm at school next week, and I'm working at Lifeline all of this weekend and then I have UNYA all of next weekend. Plus six assessment pieces in the next two weeks!
Oh well. I think I've finally persuaded myself not to apply for that job at the organic shop in town, tempting as it is.
