Oh Say Can You See...
So....I passed the interview and test with a 100% passing grade! They didn't let me be sworn in today--they don't do that anymore. So, I will have to wait to receive the letter instructing me when and where to go for the official Oath Ceremony. That should be within the next month to two months. So I'm not officailly a US Citizen just yet. I'm just approved for it that's all. I'm glad to finally be done with this process. I'm practically an American citizen anyway, been here since I was 9 months old.
The test was easy, it was an oral US History & Civics exam and I had to write out two sentences:
"I work very hard for my money." and
"I love my family very much."
Then I had to read a paragragh, demonstrating my English speaking skills. It was a paragraph about going to the supermarket and buying food. hee.
