Day three

Aug 04, 2009 10:59

Today: Visit Aunt Maureen and get the first session recorded, visit Patrick and Joan for they will be off to Oregon tomorrow, get to a Starbucks to get this posted and we’ll see whatever else happens.

Day three
After waking up at 5:41 with the light, went for a very nice 3 point something mile run on the waterfront at 8. My lungs felt like they could go on for a long time. My legs disagreed. On the return leg carried about a 7-pound stone in each hand.
Had breakfast and went off to town to buy a mask so the light in the morning is not such a bother and some groceries. The line in the supermarket took 30 minutes to get through. Went to Aunt Maureen’s And got in about 45 minutes of recording. Talked with Jeff for a bit, then went to Pat and Joan’s for lunch. Have to do it now because they are off on a trip tomorrow. Pat has done a lot of work on his side yard wall, VERY impressive work. Went back to Aunt Maureen’s and had a good 3 hours of her on tape. OK, so it’s not tape, but it just doesn’t sound right to say “on chip.” Now at home typing this up over a hot Hawaiian pizza. Clouding over a bit, cooler today than yesterday, chance of showers expected by Friday.
Aunt Maureen seems tired. She hasn’t been sleeping well and hasn’t been eating much either.
