my scattered thoughts

Dec 19, 2012 15:00

I wrote this at school on a word document because I was bored. Then I posted it later.

So I’m sitting at school right now in my house room, on the floor, in the corner. I just finished typing a four page essay on evolution, and my butt hurts from sitting on the floor for so long.

I’m supposed to be in math right now, but I honestly don’t care because no homework had to be turned in today and there were no tests or anything, therefore, that essay was more important. And now that I’ve skipped the first half of class, I really can’t just walk in for the second half, so I figured I’d just stay in house.

My birthday is on the 22nd, which I believe is this Saturday. A few friends and I are going to the MOA and the big aquarium they have there that we went to for the end of our marine biology class. It’s actually quite fun, minus the small children. I feel like such a boss when I identify the male and female rays and sharks. And name what family they are from. IN LATIN. I will now demonstrate my skills xD  Sharks and rays are in the family of cartilaginous fish, called Chondrichthyes. Bony fish are another family, called Osteoichthyes, which pretty much contains all the rest of the fish world, minus loaches, lampreys, and other jawless fish, which I forget the family of.

Although I love fish and used to want to be an aquarist, I do have another passion that I think I will pursue instead of ichthyology. That other passion? History. Specifically World War II history, if you couldn’t tell from my other entries. I think working at a museum or writing articles and books would bring in more money than being an aquarist, and I could still have aquariums as a hobby.  It would also be easier to find a college that would have the classes needed to become a historian. I should probably start looking for colleges and museums soon.

I still have a little over 30 minutes left of class, so this entry is going to be very long, and very random and scattered.

I’m quite sad that my icons didn’t really turn out the other day. I figured that I’d just delete that entry along with all the icons, re-edit the original pictures on the same website, but resize and crop them on a different site, since the last one I used didn’t resize them.

My Flyboys fanfiction is also going nicely, although I haven’t worked on it in a couple days. I would be working on it now, although I’m halfway through the sex and I think it would be rather awkward to finish it at school.

So, who else was dying because lj was down yesterday? I know I was. While that was all happening though, I did make a tumblr account and tweet a bunch of stuff about how mad I was and how all these damn ladybugs were falling from the ceiling onto my bed, and how I almost swallowed one by accident last night. I think they release some kind of smelly substance when you flick them or pick them up, because my hands always smell quite foul after I throw one off of me.

Now I’m in the car ride home from school, and I always get pretty bored, so I figured I’d keep writing. And hopefully not get a headache.

Ok I’m getting a headache.

There are a lot of movies that I need to see that are actual popular and have decent sized fandoms. Some of those movies that I have not seen include The Avengers, Thor, the Iron Man movies, and other comic based movies. Some that have my favorite actors in them that I want to see include The Grey (James Badge Dale), Iron Man 3 (James Badge Dale, when it comes out), 48 Hours (James Franco, I believe that’s the name of the movie), The Social Network (Joe Mazzello), and MAYBE Bride and Prejudice (Martin Henderson, it seems to be too much of a chick flick though).

Some series that I want to start watching include the famous Doctor Who, but honestly I don’t want to take the much time out of my schedule trying to get caught up to the current episode. The doctor may or may not happen. I also want to watch Homeland, mostly because it’s got Damien Lewis in it, and I’ve heard good reviews. I also should really check out those episodes of White Collar that have Ross McCall in them, and of course I would watch that just for the pleasure of seeing Matt Bomer in all his sexy glory.

I wonder if Mr. Bomer is in any decent movies...

I’ll have to see.

Other news...hmm...

I’m debating whether or not to get a blogspot account. One of my friends wants me too, but I fear that other than him, I wouldn’t get much feedback.

So I’m really dreading going back to the city tonight. We are working on selling our city home and moving into our newly built cabin because we really have no choice, financially; we have to sell one or the other, and the city house would probably produce more money for us.
The reason why I’m dreading going back is because I have to go to all these silly, unneeded appointments, only one of which I’m sort of looking foward too, that being getting my eyebrows waxed and shaped to the style of the 40s. I could go on about my eyebrows, but I won’t because that’s just silly.

I really should make some icons of more popular actors that I like that more people would know of and want to use. Leonardo Dicaprio, Anthony Hopkins, Orlando Bloom and maybe even Jodie Foster. Music artists as well, like Florence + The Machine, The Bravery, Ringo Starr (Because I love him). And I’ll probably throw in some Allen Ginsberg icons too, because he’s pretty fly.

And I’ll conclude this entry (finally) by saying that I have low battery on my laptop and no charger, and that you guys should check out my twitter and tumblr, and of course, follow me on both.
