i just don't understand
there are some things in this world i just can't comprehend. one of them is how people go into starbucks order a quad-venti mocha-valencia with whipped cream, but insist on making sure it's made with non-fat milk. lady, com'on, your drink already has more syrup than coffee, just get the whole milk. you're not fooling anyone here.
the one that's on my mind tonight is related to my group project for my library management class. i really don't like this class and i'm not the biggest fan of the teacher. he's EXTREMELY hands-off from the class and barely communicates with any of the students. we were placed in groups for a 3 group assignments, all having to do with strategic planning. our first part of the assignment was a few weeks ago. we all had a portion of a larger paper to write and we divvied it up evenly. at that meeting, one of the people in our group tells us that he doesn't type his papers, but that his girlfriend types everything up for him. apparently he types TOO SLOW. now, he didn't mention anything about having a disability, so i'm not even putting that into consideration. but okay, first of all - you're in fucking graduate school, learn to type. i mean, he doesn't SOUND old, he must be in his twenties, maybe thirties. but you have your freakin girlfriend typing FOR YOU?! i just don't get it. i had my mom type up one of my papers...in FIFTH GRADE! then i learned how to type and have done it myself since.
how can you go through high school AND college, get into grad-school and not fucking type everything yourself? if you type too slow, just give yourself extra time to write your papers. don't have your girlfriend type for you!
