progress
i worked from tuesday to last night on my literature review and annotated bibliography for my "information and society" class. i was hoping to have it finished by thursday night, but i needed to take a small break. i took an hour break to watch "the office" and SNL's thursday-night thing. i managed half of the annotated bibliography thursday night and finished the rest friday afternoon into the late evening. so, i was able to get both assignments turned in before their deadlines. i found out earlier in the week that the teacher decreased the amount of work needed for that assignment (classification structure). she offered extra points for those who did the original assignment, so i might get more points for that assignment. yay!
for next week i've got a midterm and i've also got to read a book and watch a movie (i chose pleasantville) - both with portrayals of librarians - and write a 500-word movie and book review. then discuss with my group and come up with talking points for what kind of stereotypes were used to depict the librarians within. i still need to pick a book. our teacher has extended the due date a few days for our group talking points, so our individual assignment and group assignment aren't due on the same day. i just wish i didn't have this during the same week i've got a midterm. *sigh* oh well...
tonight is one of the first nights i've had to just sit in my sweats and watch tv. i'm taking this time to also complete two memes. yeah...this is how i relax.
