well, i'm back at work. my body told me its opinion an hour or so ago with horrible stomach cramps. apparently, it doesn't think i should be at work. either that or it's telling me that cheerios this morning was a bad choice and i should've gone with plain toast. after having plain toast and chicken broth with noodles last night for dinner, excuse me for wanting a change! as it so happens, that's exactly what i'm having for dinner tonight, as well. maybe i'll change it up and have rice in my broth, instead of noodles. ooooo i swear, i haven't had a stomach bug like this ever before. sure, i've had the stomach flu, which resulted in lots of vomiting, but this kind - i've never encountered. after a few days of living with it, i can safely say: i don't like it. i refused to believe it could dictate what i could and could not eat. so, i tried eating like normal the past few days. that did not work. i couldn't even eat canned chicken-noodle, for it had too much fat. i even tried eating popcorn yesterday, granted i dolled it up with garlic powder and parmasean cheese. oh, stupid michelle... so, i've given in to the bug's demands. from now on, until it's gone, i will only feed it broth and plain toast. which reminds me, i should probably stop by the store tonight and get more broth and bread. *sigh*
marshall woke me up very early this morning and we were out of the house before 8am. i'm just as surprised as the rest of you. i made it into work this morning a little after 8:30 and i'll be leaving at 4:30, if not earlier, depending on how my stomach keeps up. i will not be attending tonight's drinking liberally meeting, as i don't think the tied house could accommodate my broth and toast diet and i wouldn't be able to drink at all, let alone liberally. plus, i should probably just lay low for a while. i'll be working from home tomorrow, that's for sure...
+_+_+
in WoW news i dinged 58 on my rogue. the long-awaited lvl 58. i exclaimed "ding" in guild chat last night to the cheers of "yay - outlands!!" but no, not yet. i might venture into the plaguelands for a bit, but the majority of my time for now will be battlegrounds. yes, i will be grinding away for marks to get my red skeletal warhorse. i would like to enter outlands knowing that i have a fast horse waiting for me when i ding 60. i've got almost the amount of money i'll need for the training and i've regained enough money on my warlock to send him some, if need be. the auction house has been good to me lately. people have been buying the crap i pick up at a surprising rate. stuff i thought would never sell have sold and that means money in my pocket. i know once i hit outlands, i'll be making gold hand-over-fist just from the quests alone, not to mention the rewards that will come my way that i can NOT use. luckily, as i've been running instances with my warlock, i've picked up quite a few leather items, so my rogue isn't without bad gear, come lvl 70. i've almost got him a full set of lvl 65+ greens, even including a few rings AND a nice thrown weapon. so yeah, things are going smoothly, i'll say. i'm looking forward to hitting outlands with alovan, but one must practice patience. coming from the girl who's grinding out lockpicking, just to keep up, i don't think i'll have a problem with patience...
wow,
sick,
work
