sad panda
everyone's sold out of the wii. this makes me and marshall sad pandas:
the whole plan for tonight was to get a wii. it was my anniversary gift to marshall. now i'm giftless. i feel bad. :(
marshall gave me my gifts on wednesday. it wouldn't be an anniversary without an assorted haul from victoria's secret. i believe all the underwear in my underwear drawer were purchased by marshall during the four years we've been together. i love it. my underwear has never been more colorful. this time i got a new t-shirt bra. it has a little hook (a new feature) that hooks the straps together in the back to keep them from slipping down. i have narrow shoulders, so my straps are ALWAYS slipping. two of my bras have removable/convertible straps, so i can cross those in the back, which helps a lot. i wore my new bra yesterday and it was great. i also got a handful of new bottoms. they're all super colorful AND in colors i don't have already. he always picks out the best underwear! :) my second gift was this. i used to have a black dickie's jacket in college. unfortunately, i left it at a frat party one night and never saw it again. i miss having a casual black jacket. the only casual jacket i have is my jean jacket and sometimes when i wear it with jeans, it looks weird. this particular jacket is slightly different than my old one. this one is more of a utility jacket rather than a fashion accessory, but that only makes it better. it's lined and quilted on the inside, so it's super-duper warm. plus, it has 2 interior pockets and the pockets on the outside are deep enough to carry stuff. it's a great jacket and i know it'll only get better with wear.
today's been super slow and very dreary. i think the weather has made some people stay home or go home early. it's very bleak, almost dead-of-winter type weather. it rained last night and into today. it's supposed to clear up this weekend (i hope), but as it stands now, it doesn't look like it. since we're going to half moon bay tomorrow for the pumpkin festival, i'm hoping we don't get rained out. my boss took the day off. i know a few others have left for the day early. i wouldn't mind leaving early. *sigh*
oh yeah, p.s. --- my favorite radio show pacific time broadcast its last episode last night. they've been on the air for the past 7 years and since i just RECENTLY started listening to NPR in the car, i only have listened to the past few months of the show. it's only on once a week, thursday evenings. i loved this show. i loved the theme song, especially. plus, they had really interesting interviews and stories. man, i heard that it was their last show last night and i almost started crying. my thursday evenings are NOT going to be the same... another sad panda moment. :(
