Left hotel around 9 AM-I was afraid I was going to be left
Drove until 12:30-San Gimignano
Really pretty medieval fortress
Lunch in fortress: vegetarian lasagna with spinach, zucchini, carrots, potatoes
View of city was really pretty
Drove to Florence: slept an hour on bus
Got to hotel: absolutely horrible hotel-really creepy
Alissa and I left hotel so we wouldn’t have to be in the creepy hotel; went to roam the city
Welcome dinner-pasta, quiche (omelet on pie crust), coffee ice cream
Explored Florence: went to Duomo/Baptisery doors, Fiome Arno River, Piazzo de Signoria-fruit dish, wild boar
