oh gmail
their method of mail sorting puzzles me. i understand that there are snafu's with periods in email addresses, but there are many occasions where i get mail that is clearly not for me. rental agreements from lawyers (i'm starting a pottery business somewhere), copies of my scholarship bond (from singapore no less), family photos (didn't look), meeting announcements and lots of junk/chain mail. my standard position is to ignore them, but occasionally they will persist, and i wonder if i should reply to the sender and let them know ... though that in itself seems like the greater invasion of privacy.
the various lives i lead though do amuse me, and my other 'family' that sends me email about the singapore ministers salaries (they have the top 30!) or birthday wishes (awww ...) i do hope at some point that they do rectify their mistakes.
