Let's set sail with Captain Morgan...

What a weekend...It was one of the best I've had in awhile. Friday night, about 15 of us all went downtown for the Kid Rock concert. The limo went to my parents work first, to pick up a few people from there, it finally made it to our house around 5pm. The limo was freakin huge. It was an Excursion limo, it can hold 24 people, but 15 was pretty tight. It didn't take us long to get downtown. So we stopped in front of the Ren Cen, and whoever wanted to get out and walk around could. I ended up getting out, So it was just my dad, Jack and Chris, and me and Alberto. The rest stayed in the limo. After hearing what they did in the limo, kind of glad I got out. A lot of them are crazy when they drink ;) Though I'm sure it would have been hilarious if I had stayed. But, instead we went into the Renaissance Center to walk around there, got lost in there. But finally made it out. Started walking towards Joe Louis. It was a long, cold walk. But it all paid off when we got there. Chris's sister-in-law works at Joe Louis, she works up in the suites. So she gave us passes to go up there, and she got us some free drinks. Actually finished a whole can of beer, quite proud of myself. Captain Morgan was there too. Alberto and I got a picture with him. Hopefully, I can get a copy of it from Alberto, since it was on his camera. I so wasn't going to get a picture with the Captain...he was so tall. I am so the shortest person in the picture. We finally made it back down to our seats and met the rest of our group down there. The concert was awesome. The seats were great, and Bob Seger and Uncle Kracker both showed up. Kid Rock played for a long time too, until about 11:15. It was good.

Spent most of Saturday resting, I was super tired from the concert. Tiffany and I planned on going downtown for the Winter Blast, but never quite made it down there. Until about 9:30pm. We ended up at some bar in Greektown. It was fun. The walk back wasn't so fun. We had to park super far. And the walk back was cold and wet. It looked really nice downtown though, just wish we would have gotten down there sooner. We ended up coming home around midnight. I had to work at 8am today, so I had to get some sleep.

But now its over, and its time to start my week again. Will be extremely busy this week with work, school, and court. Kohl's has been really good about giving me a good portion of the weekend off, and the court isn't open on the weekends, so I find myself counting down the days for the weekend.
