Everything is different, yet everything is the same.
Yesterday, Tiffany and I went to Fitz, for Tiffany to drop off some paperwork. It was our first time being back in 4.5 years. I have been there for Kelly and Kyle's graduation, but that was mainly in the auditorium lobby. It was really weird being back there, walking the hallways again. It seemed like it was just yesterday. I even found my locker from senior year and walking down B hall, remembered my locker being down there, sophomore or junior year. We got there just as the students were getting out of school. I have never felt so old in my life. They acted different, made me think if we acted like that when we were there. Walking up the stairs, it felt like we were actually there again. It was just a really weird feeling. They are doing a lot of work on the school, itself. And parts of it doesn't even resemble what we remember. The office is completely different, the cafeteria is completely different, the library is completely different. And many of our teachers are no longer there. We did see Mrs. Plieth's classroom though, its the same. Still has weird stuff in it. She was in a meeting though, so we didn't get to talk to to her. Tiffany was heartbroken, we know how much she loved Mrs. Plieth ;)
Anyway, I better get ready for class. I have a group presentation today and then I have to work 6-12:30. And we'll definetely be there till 12:30, so I won't be home till 1am...going to be a long day.
