Hey kiddies:
There's been a lot happening in the world of Trampstamp, and you lucky fans of the Nonz will be the first to hear most of it.
1. The demo is finally done. We had to change lead singers, add a guitar player, borrow a mic and stands from James Wright (thanks bro), and scrap the original recordings in June, but we're finally done. Those of you that are close friends of the band and have supported us will get a copy if you haven't gotten one already. Those of you who have been sitting around with your thumb up your ass asking when we're going to play Bodega will get jackshit.
2. With the demo being done, we can finally let people know how badass we are, and get booked for shows. UNOFFICIALLY, we will be playing Soho on October 5th. We still need to confirm the details before we make it official, but go ahead and mark your calendars. The demo is currently being shopped aggressively around Columbus and not so aggressively around Auburn, so be on the lookout for the announcement of shows.
3. I play bass for Trampstamp. This is almost a full-time job, and I spend a lot of time doing the band thing and I love every minute of it. It would mean the world to me if every single one of you (within reason, if you live in Illinois then I don't expect this) to show up for a gig. Additionally, my free time to come visit my friends will be greatly reduced. If you want to bask in my Nonzness, come see us play. Please don't ask me to come to wherever you are. There is nothing more awesome than watching our band rock out. I've made many drives to see my friends and they have not reciprocated. If you can't make the drive to come see the band at least once even though I've made the drive to see you, then you'll just have to miss out.
See you at the show.
D. Nonz Arelli
