I am pondering the magickal implications that the sun no longer travels through the signs as we think it does. The course has changed so much since Ptolemy wrote it down that sun in Scorpio only lasts 6 days and it travels through a thirteenth constellation in December. If you go strictly by that, the calender is so changed, I would no longer be a Cancer, but a Gemini. However, it is now believed that the birth sun signs, at least go by a seasonal cycle and not the cycle of the sun itself, meaning your sign isn't going to change. I know that a lot of people use astrology in magickal timing. The article I read about this was in Time, so it was specifically dealing with the birth sun sign and obviously did not consider anything the general public wouldn't give two shakes about. For those of you who actively use astrology in your magick, how will this impact it? Will you change or will you go by "it is isn't broke, don't fix it?"
