1. Name: Lindsey
2. Age: 18
3. Queer, or wish you were?: Queer!
4. Location: New York
5. What is your favorite book and why?: I love to read, so i have a lot of favorite books, but my two favs would have to be She's Come Undone by Wally lamb and Prozac Nation by Elizabeth Wurtzel because they both hit depression on the head and helped me through a really tough time.
6. Life motto (phrase you live by): Whatever happens, happens.
7. Why are you so gay? (if we hear any more stories about how you had two Barbies but no Ken, we will kill you, seriously.): Actually, I am so gay because i had two kens (kidding!!) but honestly, I've been gay forever and I just love women. I tried the whole boy thing and (for me) it just... didnt work. nope, not at all. I love sex, I love sex with women, I love the way women work, I love the way they think , the way they love, i just love everything about um!!
8. Your hero/idol: My hero would have to be..... actually its a friend ( i dont really want to say her name because she is on lj) but she just has lived through so much, a lot of things that I don't even want to have to imagine living through, and she is still able to survive and make it through every day. She is so strong, and I love and idolize her for that.
9. Thoughts on the following:
Socialism ("I don't follow politics" does not work. Stop being ignorant and come back when you're educated.): I think socialism is an excellent concept because having society control production would mean that work would be done for the majority rather than the wealthy minority. Socialism also helped to free the worker from "the man" and allows them to really get what they deserve for the work they do. It is a free enterprise.
Grammar: I personally think grammar, to the length that some people take it, is ridiculous. I definetly agree that when a word is meant to be "your" that it should be your and not "ur" in reality, but on livejournal i think that , hey, as long as its readable its okay with me. I think that the grammar we learn in school is insanity because most of it is just ridiculous bullshit that we aren't going to need, but i definetly think the fundamentals of grammar are just important for ease of communication.
Country music: I like some of it, i have nothing against it. I live in New York, so it isn't exactly prevalent where i come from, but i do listen to some of it, and what i've heard i like alright.
Rating communities: They are fun!!
Intermarriage: Love is love, color, gender, or anything is is not going to change that. Marry whoever you want. If i fell in love with someone of another race, creed, etc. I would have no problem marrying that person.
Religion: Religion isn't my thing really. I don't know what I believe and I've bounced around a lot. I guess you can say im "inter-religion" since im not sure where I stand right now. I think that if you believe, then all the power to you. It has definetly helped families stay strong when it seems like everything is going wrong, and for that I can't say anything bad about it!
Machismo: I don't agree with machismo only because it involves domination and agressiveness with women. Now, if you like it kinky and like to get rough and or be dominated in the sack, thats your own biz ( dont worry, ladies, i like it too ;) ) but if you are hurting or being overly agressive with a women simply because you believe you are better than her (whether you are a man OR a woman) then that is just plain wrong.

10. What is "class," to you? Class is being respectful of everyone and everything no matter what.

11. Are you one who settles, or one who strives for more? Why? I strive for more because you can never just be happy with what you have. There will always be more to reach for. Once I have something that I want, if there is noway up, I would be willing to settle though.

12. Do you honestly think that you are attractive?yes.

13. How would you gauge the importance of acquiring a second (or third) language? I think its important, i strongly feel that communication throughout the world is extremely important in decreasing the level of violence and tension across the globe.

14. Do you perpetuate a gay stereotype? (Honestly, people!) Yep

15. Do you take what people on the Internet say seriously? Some people.

16. And finally, why should we give a damn (this can be intepreted in any way you wish)?Because i am a smart, fun, intelligent person who looks good too. Im the overall package (im kidding,by the way, im not THAT vain) But really, I put a lot of time into this app so im hoping youd put some time into reading it!
