Today I resigned from my job. I've been thinking about it for years, for a number of reasons (and my supervisor did have a heads-up from me a little over a month ago.)
So what am I going to do with my life? The short answer - I have enough money in savings to live on for a while, so I'm going to take the time to focus on my writing, both to regain my voice and see if I can make a living at it. Again, this is something I've thought about for a long time, and I have less illusions than one might think.
I'm also planning to move, probably to Western New York. I'm leaning towards the Jamestown/Chataqua region, Niagara Falls, or Rochester. (Jamestown currently heads the list.) Anyone have recommendations of where I should live?
