Under the Dome
I'm currently reading Under the Dome, by Stephen King. It's a chilling character study of what happens when a small town finds itself cut off from the rest of the world by an invisible dome. King does a wonderful job with characterization, but that novel should have been a trilogy. I'm afraid I'll break my wrist every time I pick that book up. ;-)
