Dilemma

Dec 04, 2011 15:32

Two mini-series, both alike in creativity,
on Sunday night, wherefore I do watch the screen,
will begin.
"Neverland" is SyFy's tale of Peter Pan,
while "Pillars of the Earth" will tell of cathedrals' birth
on Reelz.

So which should I watch?

television, fantasy, middle ages, poetry

My first thought is to record one and watch the other.

But I can guarantee that SyFy will rerun Neverland sometime next weekend. I haven't checked the schedule, but they've done a rerun with every miniseries in the past. Go to the SyFy website, check when it will be on again, and watch it then. They might also make it available to watch online after the broadcast.

Do you have a DVR or VCR?

I don't have a DVR; I'm afraid if I had it I'd use it and end up watching way too much tv. I have a DVD/VCR player, but it doesn't record. The newer ones assume people only use them to watch legacy VCR tapes, and use DVRs to record.

I just watched Pillars of the Earth, which is quite good. I'll take your advice and catch Neverland as a rerun.

Thanks. It began as an ordinary post, and then inspiration struck. :-)
