No, I'm mad!

I can say with all honesty that I am appalled, embarrassed and even a little scared by the recent idiotic anger and stubborn hatred spewed from the mouths of the McCain/Palin supporters. Things are getting crazier and ugly...

"Go get him!"
"Terrorist!"
"Kill him!"
"Sit down, boy!"
"That one."
"Socialist Elite"
"He's a terrorist, just look at his middle name."

Even the absentee ballots in NY state featured a "misprint" of Obama's name on it...it instead said, "Osama".

Really? Have we slid that far back in eight years of rallying together with a common cause and a larger purpose? Did we lose sight of that common unity we felt just seven years ago? There we were, holding our breath together as we watched them fall. Then we exhaled, grabbed a hand or a shovel or even a gun and went to work...together. We had a voice and we had a nation. Undivided. Unafraid. Unified.

So John McCain and Sarah Palin can take a stand and show themselves to be proud and American instead of hatemongers and trouble makers.

Pray for Hope, don't Prey on Fear.
