summary: the show of a sunset
disclaimer: i received them for christmas,so i own them u.ù
A/N: i slightly modified a oneshot that i wrote a looooong time ago,but in the original the characters are a man and a woman

Sea is on fire: a blinding sphere of light is going to douse itself in the wide expanse of salty water.
The sky is melting with the sea, streaked with orange, yellow, crimson red, dark brown.
The sun is going to sleep,it's a light on the horizon line tinier with the minutes.
The man's heart skips a beat at this sight,he's fascinated by this masterpiece.
He's sitting on the soft sand, playing unconsciously with an iridescent shell, too caught in the sunset in front of him to notice anybody approaching him.
He slightly jump when a light hand sets on his shoulder; he looks at the person behind him: a young man, with mother-of-pearl-ish smooth skin,raven-black hair, chocolate brown and sparkly eyes,a sweet smile plastered on his pink full lips.
"You..."
"Yes..." -his soft voice is musical, like the suave notes of a piano, all his love for the other man filling one simple word.
He sits down near the lonely man,his legs on one side, hiding the bare feet under the sand, cuddling up to him.
They look at the darkening sky, dark blue and pitch black are going to replace soon the orange reflection in the sea too.
The sun has already settled down to let the moon shine at its place.
The moon is now covered by the onliest cloud in the whole clean sky, showing its presence with a faint halo; a few stars are shyly appearing here and there, not to leave the moon alone.
It's a full moon night, the tide is high and the small waves of the sea are almost reaching the couple; the two lovers stay there silently, sighing every once in a while at the change happening in front of them.
They stay there all night long, their hands entwined, the dark haired head on the skinny man's shoulder.
They look at the fight of the moon against the cloud, trying to free itself and shine in all its illusory glory.
The cloud finally losts the battle and runs away; the moon looks bigger now, gleaming with all its hidden fierce, conducting the orchestra of the stars around itself for the audience beneath them.
The sea takes part in the show with its dancing waves, following the rythm of the celestial bodies above.
"It's the time...Rise and shine for me too..." the pale man says, and gives a chaste kiss on the other man's lips.
The show must go on,and it's now the turn of the other protagonist, again: the sun is ready to leave the wings and tread the boards,to play its role.
The man wakes up,somebody is shaking him: his best friend is sighing.
"Today is the day... Let's go..."  and precedes him.
He stands up and looks at the sand: it's perfectly smooth, except where he has stood during the night; no trace of other footsteps.
The other man shakes his head: "We'll be late for the funeral, move on!"
The man looks again at the sand,at the sea,at the sun,at the sky; a small group of clouds is crossing the sky, tracing the shape of a face with a heartfelt smile addressed directly at him.
