Well, let me tell you my point of view, as a parent and playtron.

The Woodlands (aka Children's Realm) rocks!

I've been attending faires with kidlin in tow for seven years now, and OKRF has one of the best children's programs ever, and it keeps getting better. Yes, I remember when all the games were run by bored teenagers, and you had to pay for them. God, I went broke down there! Now there are so many options, I have to drag Smog out by his hood.

Last year, I spent quite a bit of time down there, and assumed I would be bored out of my skull, but in truth, you get some quiet, beautiful interaction time down there, away from the hustle of the upper lanes. Now, I make it a point to go down there. I would love to see someone take over the Lord Mayor's Jump Rope competition, as this was always one of my favorite things to watch, but Simon Says in the lanes served nicely. If someone would take it upon themselves to become the Game Master or Mistress, organizing things like that for cast and patron children alike, that person would have wonderful opporunities and be highly visible.

As far as Twitch, specifically, it has been wonderful to watch the character grow from strictly hanging in the tree house to having a chance to play more, though mostly I saw you running from one dance to another or dancing on the table at pub sing with an unbridled energy that makes my head whirl. I think, should Master Sommers decide to hang up his pointed hat, he could do far worse than you as a successor, but that's just my two cents.

Woot! Yes, they do rock! I'm not about to take credit for the outstanding place it's become, though. That credit belongs to everyone involved from the top down, honestly. I can only see good things for the Woodlands from here on in, but I don't know that that'll help you at the end of the day when it comes time to haul Smog home.

You've also hit the nail on the head as to what I like about the woodlands. The interactions we get to have down there are amazing. I get to talk to parents and grandparents as they take a breather, and I get to tell children about the woodlands, which is cool because they come to love the woodlands even more when it's actually got some story behind it.

Awww. Thanks for the kind words.
