And be there where my arms could reach you.
I wish I could let you know how much you touch my life.
Maybe a little time is all the time we get,
The words we long to say are words that go unsaid,
You can go back again. But if I had one wish...
If I had one day,
I would spend it with all my grandparents. I never really got a chance to know my grandparents seeing how my mum's parents passed away before I was born, my yeye (dad's dad) passed when I was 6 while my mama (dad's mum) passed after a long, 7 year stroke when I was 14. I want to know their stories -- what it was like growing up, surviving the war, how they fell in love and what they were like in person. I want to know their quirks, habits and peeves. I want them to know how we've all been doing since they've been away. I want them to know that I love them because I never had a chance to say it to them.
