Oh, friends list. I love you, I do. But I haven't gone near you in about four days now.
I am self-obsessed when it comes to writing, and right now I'm working on something that has literally sucked up my entire life. I eat, sleep and breathe this story - I wish I could tell you all about it, because it's killing me to keep it a secret. It's almost finished, though; I may finish it today, if I can find the time. And then it will enter the obligatory waiting period where I reread it seventeen million times, tweaking a word here and a comma there before I finally just let go and post it.
Plus, it has to wait. There are a few other things waiting patiently ahead of it in line. Watch this space this week, my dears; it's going to be busy.
