Plenty of time to catch-up, then? And, hey! Instead of watching Smallville on Friday evenings, you could have a goal of drabbling/writing/something else fic related for that hour on Fridays! You could even still have the wine!
I think I'm just irked because I actually almost enjoyed tonight's ep. So just when it's getting good, you hit me with a 2-month hiatus? BOO.
I could definitely repurpose the hour, though heaven knows if I'll be able to be so concientous about it. My dvr is seriously backed up.
BUT, you would be proud of me, I think I may have pushed through that block on my epic this afternoon :) just some high-level plotting but it's a big step considering.
SpN and SV have taken a two month hiatus for as long as I'm aware of. Maybe other shows on the CW do it, too. I'm not sure. It's a pain, although it's kind of nice to not have to worry about those nights for a while.
You're doing clexmas? That's awesome. Me, too. I missed it last year. I'd only just started writing, and hadn't quite gotten into challenges yet. I should be fun. I'm looking forward to it anyway.
This is actually the first time we've been watching live; last year at this time we were still somewhere in s2 or 3 :) So I just wasn't expecting it, I figured there'd be some holiday hiatus, but this took me by surprise.
