Does anyone know if there are Going My Way translations out there? And which numbers? I did 1, 2, 6 and now 13. I intend to translate some more but want to avoid translating something that has already been translated. Thanks.

2012.03 Potato - Kamenashi Kazuya’s Going My Way #13

p183
Continuing from last year, we have a close coverage of Kamenashi who took part in the independent training of the Giants' players this year, too! We followed him while he tackled with everything he had a practice schedule. Even the players say about that schedule that "The training in Guam is the toughest"!

Covering the independent training of the Giants' pitchers!

After finishing the coverage, the impression is that I managed it! As a matter of fact, the marathon first thing in the morning was the hardest. Inside myself I felt like giving in, but I managed it by will-power alone. In my life in show business I do things with only my will-power, too, you see (*laughs*). Not talent/ability. Now it's refreshing, or perhaps I should say, there is a sense of accomplishment. And then, once again I thought that all the players are amazing. They are doing such a hard training as we did today every day. Furthermore, they do independent trainings. If they were students this would be like self-study. Essentially, even though they could have some rest until the camp begins, in order to become a regular member, they give up their off time and train. In this way, I really came to understand the "holding a sense of danger". For example, even though last year pitcher Utsumi had the most victories, first he aims at entering the rotation and attends the independent training. He told me jokingly, "I am chicken/wimp, you see (*laughs*)", but I think it's amazing to be able to do this. As for the time of the independent training before entering the camp, I can't see how the other players spend it. But that’s why they are able to do these tough things, right. I also wanted to hold such a sense of danger and to tackle work. And then, catch-ball with pitcher Utsumi is memorable. The balls pitcher Utsumi throws are amazing. They fly quickly on a low trajectory. When we thought we would mimic it, our balls just dropped, rather than drift from a low point. This time I could really make a lot of precious experiences, too. Btw. this year I carried the glove of Seibu Lions pitcher Kishi (Takayuki) and so could participate. I also want to take my kouhai (juniors) with me and train independently. But I wonder what we should do... probably vocal training practice at the beach (*laughs*).
And then, here in Guam, the home run project started again. Yesterday, I was coached by Softbank’s player Matsunaka (Nobuhiko). The blisters I suffered last year are already starting to form again... They are really blisters, they really hurt and are blistering (*laughs*). Besides, if I have blisters when I am doing KAT-TUN’s work, it feels strange. Our work is certainly a battle with the heart, how to look cool is also an important skill. For example, the grooming of my hair, it's the same feeling as when baseball players polish their gloves. So, this gap is difficult. Of course, when I play baseball, I forget about my appearance. Also some time ago when I ran on the beach, there were calls of "What team are you in?" (*laughs*). This year, first is the matter of how to confront the blisters. And then, I want to hit the home run this year for sure. I want to overcome last year's regret/bitterness, hit the home run, and go to the next step!

I managed it with will-power! In my work I want to make use of the things I learn here.

Nothing but running! running! running!!

That day's independent training had a schedule that was centred around running. In Guam's everlasting summer where just by standing around one starts to sweat, first he started with running! He ran to the baseball stadium, after arriving at the baseball stadium the running around continued non-stop. "It's like entering a sauna", said Kamenashi pouring water over his head and desperately running after the players. Even when the camera was not running he didn't rest, he completed the same training schedule as the players. The players were also surprised and said, "Normally, people can't do it, it's amazing".

1:00 pm
Challenging the harsh weight training!

He moves to the sports gym and under the guidance of pitcher Sawamura challenges the weight training. Being taught, "The important thing is how many times one will be able to do it, after the muscles have started to tremble", he challenges his limits! During breaks he interviewed the players. He drew out episodes from those natural and easy conversations.

2:45 pm
Lastly, frolicking at the beach!

While the staff is stopping/giving up, Kamenashi himself volunteers, "I want to do the same training until the end", and hastily also participated in the running at the sandy beach. After that, he gets really excited playing beach volleyball. Btw. at the volleyball game Kamenashi's team lost, so there is also the sight of him doing consecutive jumps during the batsu-game (*laughs*) (1). Kamenashi said, "Everyone received me really friendly, I was really happy". Kamenashi going into the sea with everyone looks as fun as if it were club activities of senpai (seniors) and their kouhai (junior), and his smile is also sparkling!

(1) batsu-game: game played as a form of punishment by the loser of a contest

Happy New Year

This year I could also participate in the independent training in Guam

Going through everyone's substantial amount of training myself is amazing

Even though the baseball season ended, the fall camp immediately started. All year round they live confronting their own bodies. Being able to see it, being able to experience it, I gained a lot of knowledge

This year for sure I will hit a home run

Before that, live concert, live concert
