My sister just brought home frozen kitty treats for my cat. It consists of single-serve meat or peanut butter flavored ice cream containers.
I appreciate the thought, really I do. I love my cat, don't get me wrong. However, as I stare at the box with a very pampered Persian cat on the front, and read about the 'specially formulated for cats!' nutrition information, I have to wonder what state society is in that in the midst of economic recession where people are unemployed and undoubtedly eating less and less as they try to save money and make ends meet...there are people out there developing ice cream for cats...and people who would spend their money on it.
The frivolity of it blows my mind.
Dude, I didn't even have ice cream treats growing up. They were considered a lavish indulgence until late middle/early high school.
