Well....that was just...fucking amazing
Just got back from CIF prelims...dear lord. I dont know where to begin. Perhaps we should start last night at the banquet...yes that would be excellent. Lets just say...food, fucking amazing. People, not half bad. Awards, fucking BULLSHIT. The MVP awards for both varsity and j.v. were completely ridiculous. Jenny Holman got it for J.v. Because I love jenny so much, that didnt piss me off at all. But then Megan Chinen fucking got MVP for varsity. WHAT THE FUCK IS THAT??? Im sorry, but the last time i checked, the MVP was supposed to be the person that brought in the most points for your team. And remind me again...what was the last race that megan won....? Yea....and it was great to see her at all three practices this season. Good having her there. I mean she's sweet and i love her...but, honestly. She was by NO means the most valuable swimmer. UN fucking beleivable. I dont even want to talk about it...it makes me want to shit on someones face. I know i shouldnt base the season on the awards at the end, but there was no reason that award should have gone to her. I mean yea...shes a seinor. Yea, she's leaving. But wait...isnt she also the fucking ROSE QUEEN?! Like she doesnt already have enough fucking plaques to go on her damn wall. Shit. I dont know who fucking voted for her but goddamn. Are you people outside you're damn minds. Honestly. Every single time i swam against her in the IM i beat her by at least 15 seconds. EVERY TIME. Tomorrow im gunna go through the books and see how many races she came in first in. I bet you it will be less than three. If that. GOD it pisses me the fuck off. It doesnt make me mad that Megan got it, persay, but the fact that Lauren was overlooked, and....oh dear god. Stop me now before I kill someone. I seriously think that ruined the season for me. No joke. I mean there was only TWO PEOPLE on the entire team that made it to CIF's in individual events, and qualified for even more. MEGAN WENT FOR RELAYS. THATS IT!!! Lauren and I were maxed out with events, and megan went in the relays. Way to go MVP. Definately bringing in the most points there. Fucking awesome. I'm glad the douchebags on our team also recognize all the points she brings in and how she works sooo much harder than everyone else. GAH. Anyways, I have more important things to do so i'll finish this later. Shit im tired.
