If that wasn't perfection, it was so damn close!
OMFG! I’m positively dying and I couldn’t care less.
This was my third House Season Finale (I’m not counting the first three seasons, because when I saw them I had the premiere of next season already) and I’m on the verge of dying from happiness.
It’s incredible how in 44 minutes of episode I went from shocked to angry, from outraged to sad, from worried sick to extremely happy.
They managed to save the most boring season in the history of House with just 5 tiny minutes. I fell back in love with David Shore (AND Katie Jacobs, because I know she was into that too)!
It was so intense... maybe that was because we avoided spoilers at all costs this year and we knew close to nothing, I don’t know.
I went from ‘Cuddy, you bitch, don’t you see he’s hurting, leave him alone’ to ‘OMG, Cuddy I love you say those words again’!!
And then, that final scene! I swear, I died.
When it started, the one friend who KNEW what was going to happen told me: “Ok, from now on, don’t lose a second, don’t even blink. You’ll like it, I promise”.
I did and after it ended I sat there for 5 good minutes, staring speechless at the screen.
IT HAPPENED! IT REALLY HAPPENED!!
I’ll confess, I wasn’t expecting anything from this Season Finale. The entire season was pretty boring and dull to me, except for a bunch of moments worth seeing (like Wilson standing up for him or Wilson again singing to Evita).
So I thought, here we are, the end will be probably the same... a little more dramatic with the shocking revelation and the classic cliffhanger at the end which left us wondering until Spetember, but nothing extraordinary.
Trust Fox to surprise you again! Yes, there was the revelation, but absolutely nothing we were expecting (if you’re going to tell me you anticipated Cuddy’s words, I don’t believe you), BUT... surprise, surprise... no cliffhanger! The entire series could end like this and it would be fine to me.
Sure, they left us wondering:
- Where the hell is Rachel?
- What’s going on with 13?
- What’s going to happen now? Will they do it or is it going to fail?
All questions that will have to wait until September, but I really don’t care, because...
FUCK IT, MY SHIP IS CANON!
