Nihon Matsuri.
The Nihon Matsuri Japan Festival is this weekend in Japantown, located on 200 West 100 South in downtown SLC. There will be entertainment, historical displays, childrens activities, food, vendors, and even some audience participation activities toward the end!!!
The festival goes on from 10 AM to 5 PM, but if you want to eat, come early -- food usually begins to sell out around 2 PM.
Also, if you enjoy this festival and would like to see it continue, there will be a booth raffling off airfare to Japan -- tickets are $1! The sales from this raffle are what pay for the rental and setup of Nihon Matsuri. So if you are able, that would be one of the nicest things you could do for us!
