Hey everyone!
Well, I was doing online school but it's not the best fit for me, so I'm gonna be going back to public high school. I live in Sandy, and I was planning on going to Alta High School, but since we're in the Jordan High School boundaries, we had to go to Jordan to get a permit signed to allow me to cross the boundary and go to Alta. Well, when my mom was down there, she found out that Alta's not as awesome as we thought it was and that it's the most Mormony high school in the whole valley. Jordan is a bigger building with less students, and there's more diversity because the Jordan boundaries straddle the freeway. So we went and looked at the students as they got out today and we noticed there really is a lot more diversity at Jordan than Alta. So right now my preference is Jordan.
I was just wondering if there was anyone in this community that has been to either of these schools, or has kids there, and could tell me what really goes in, in case I'm observing this unrealistically. Are there more problems with the students in Jordan because of the diversity, and is Alta really that Mormony? I'd appreciate any and all feedback on what you guys know about these high schools.
