Just felt the itch to interpret (even my own work because of your comments... dito na lang kaya (muna?) :P) (ok lang kahit walang premyo...gusto ko lang ilabas :D). I don't think it's according to your perspective but more of mine (hehehe...I find "reality" quite interesting)...but it could be yours too :P
It talks about the ideal, perceived reality and the harsh reality. There is an ideal that fulfills the self and because it is an ideal, it is pure in the mind and memory. There are times when we try to hide reality (our truth) by creating another reality (or an image of reality that we perceive) yet the other reality seeps through. But there is always the inescapable reality, or the relative truth, that isn't always good that leaves us disappointed as it's far from the ideal.
Another perspective of mine: Hmm...food? Now, I'm hungry. *looks for something to eat*
Whoa I like this, it's not mushy and ohmygoodness the way the images flow into each other is really really good. No violent transitions, just one thought leading naturally into another. There's a very significant change from sweetness to bitterness here, but the reader is hardly aware of it. It's just like eating ice cream.
