As I have not slept and therefore have nothing intelligent or coherent to say, I present you with a comment in poem form:
Luminous
You, who belonged to shadow until you encompassed my sky, one hand cupping the sun so I could see the night in your eyes: constellation upon constellation of stars blazing brighter than day. You, who gave me not a world but the universe's terrible beauty. You who are pre-dawn silence and all the voices of the dusk, who I had never thought to see until I saw you in every kiss of light and shade.
You, who are all the sunsets I ever wanted, you who are the horizon, an embrace unending, you who are fire's marriage to water surging in my chest, beating echo upon echo of your name. You who are truth. Who are promise, who are the answer softly-spoken to questions that tremble, longing, on the shaken footholds of dreams. You who brought twilight out of nightmare and re-lit the first evening stars.
You who shine even when the sun goes out. Whose touch surpasses all parting.
You who I love, Beloved, hardly hearing reason or fear past belief or hoping, knowing you, only you.

(That's all.)

You, who are
a glow-in-the-dark figure
or a battery-operated nightlight.
