every great scene must be a love scene

Today I found the meaning of life. again. Yes, I've already found the meaning of life once...or twice. But today was my second...or third enlightenment.

This happened after going to the most inspirational workshop ever. : Advanced Shakespeare. It was absolutly marvelous. Basically it began with everyone telling about when they began reading Shakespeare and how it has affected them. And one girl acctually was working on a particular monologue and she performed it for us. And we gave her feedback. The rest of the 1.5 hours were spent reworking her monologue. analyzing the different ways the lines and words could be taken and felt. not analyzed like "lets write 10 essays on 'to kill a mockingbird'...but analyze as in...how does this feel? what do you want. and how are you going to get it." By the end of the workshop her monologue was BEAUTIFUL. simply, simply AMAZING.

Then...dinner...then RAIN. And life had meaning. I looked up into the sky and it was purpose. It was reason. It was beauty. It was love. It was life.

I can't explain my enlightenment or my inspiration...just as it says in "siddhartha" by Herman Hesse...one cannot be taught wisdom or enlightenment...one must find it for oneself.

and so i did.

that one group that did the scene about columbine was beautiful.

Brittany Berg was AMAZING. (standing ovation for my baby)

Caitlin Lopez was ...oh whats the point...you already know.

And wow. just wow.

I can't express ....I just can't...so I'll stop trying to.
