So many books, so little time...

I've stopped wondering where everyone is... and have read 5 books the past few days. I am filled with knowlegde from those great books and now filled with an anticipation for the next book to enter my palms ...

What will it be? The third Sons of the Dark? Harry Potter? Or perhaps I will finially read The Davinci Code. ... who knows...

I have read ...

"I Have Lived a Thousand Years" A diary of a Jewish girl during the Holocost. I wanted to read this one when I was in 8th grade (which is when I purchased it) but for some reason never did until now.

"Julie of the Wolves" (still on my quest to reading all the books at my library in the young adult and adult sections) About an Eskimo girl who is forced to live with her aunt becuase the government says she has to go to school (where her and her dad lived ... there was no school. He taught her the true ways of Eskimos) ... when she turns 13 she moves to Barrow Alaska and ends up in an arranged marriage with this abnormal kid who barely talks to her. And then he cracks. He has been teased by the other kids ... and he attemps to force her to have sex... but before that could ever happen she disappears. She intends to make her way to California, where her pen pal lives. Thanks to her father, she learns to survive on her own in the Alaskan wilderness... She studies a pack of wolves and by following their actions she is accepted into their pack. .... won't say any more than that

"Stravagation" A boy with cancer is given a notebook from another world (well, the same world, but different time period). This is his way of transporting from today's London to yesterday's Belleza (Italy). In the end he is stuck in Belleza.

"Escape: Songs of the Dark 2" I will not give out any information... You must read Daughter's of the Moon first. All I will say is Andrea got me hooked, I got 2 other peaple hooked, and those two people hooked others. VERY GOOD SERIES!!!

"Obernewtyn" Elspeth Gordie is a Misfit. Raised in orphanges for most of her life, desperate to receive her certificate of normalcy, her only chance at survival is secrecy, and she vows never to use her mental powers. But her abilities seem to have an imperative of their own, and soon she comes to the attention of the fanatically religious Council, which condemns people of Elspeth's talents. Unaware of the extent of her powers, the Council sends Elspeth to the remote estate of Obernewtyn, where escape is impossilbe. Once there, Elspeth must come to terms with her abilities and throw off her safe cloak of concealment-for there are not only friends but enemies at Obernewtyn, evil people who intend to use the Misfits' mental abilities to resurrect ther terrible forces of the apocalypse knwon as the Great White. Only then will Elseth learn what she is, and the destiny she must survive to fulfill.
