0500...you should be out jogging while it's still cool...

Perhaps the change is so subtle, you can't directly see it over the span of just 24 hours...

If bad emotions are negative and good emotions are positive, than overall it is not too bad to be at zero...

Que Sera Sera...

Whatever will be will be...

Even if you're 45% of the way there, that's 45% more than when you started...

Move to a sunnier climate. There's a reason Seattle has the number-one depression and suicide rate. I'm not so sure that's true, now that I think about it...

The world is always on the verge of ending, but at least when it does, no one will know.

I imagine it's like death. So, in a way, the world ending would be a good thing, since all of our questions will be answered. Since I am still confused, the world can't have ended...

There is little disappointment that can compare to realizing that all the things we knew as children were lies. Perhaps our purpose is to make the world what we thought it should be as kids.

This is why I always tell people, "Don't rush into a lifelong commitment."

People are...

..inherently people

I am reminded of set theory. A set can contain objects, many sets of objects, or even empty sets. I think that set theory was just a mathematician making things more difficult than they needed to be.

Just proof that very little in the world dwells on the defined boundaries but rather in the places between...

I think the boundaries are there only because the line has to be drawn somewhere for humankind to make hide and hair of it...

I can't think of a response to this line, except "Yes, gray IS all around.."

Denial, anger, bargaining and depression may be prerequisites...

What if there isn't reason? I guess the task at hand then will be to find out why there isn't a reason... Either way, it will keep us busy for a long time...

I think of entropy more as a side-effect. I'd go so far as to say that life wouldn't be as interesting in a universe where things were regressing all the time.

Existentialism may be all we have left if it turns out our side quests for reason (or finding the reason for absence of reason) prove to be failures...

Light exists because, currently, no life form can see in neutrinos.

Good is a compromise humanity made with itself, realizing that with all the bad running amok, it was hard for people to live comfortably, or at all...

If God didn't want us to be "enlightened," he wouldn't have allowed it to happen.

Can, after all, humanity be made to still return to God even knowing of good and evil?

Can, after all, humanity be made to still return to God even being "enlightened." That may be the ultimate test for humanity right there...

...Fire in the disco, fire in the gates of Hell!"

I have a hobby, thank you. It's called "posting comments in peoples' blogs." That, and coin collecting. I'm not very consistent with either, however.
