「Dao's Drabble #13」First Physical Purchase!
Hello! Omg, I've abandoned this LJ for too long. I am still alive and doing fine. How about you?? Hope everything is perfect ^^
Yesterday, Arashi announced they will release Kaito/ Kite (NHK song for Olympic 2020) in physical CD, DV, and BR. I am lucky enough that I am an FC member right now, so FC members get one big privilege.
THE FC SPECIAL KITE! It will come with a CD (Kite song) and exclusive 56 pages of photobooks.
At first, I only wanted to buy the LE version. Because of 3 reasons:
1. They don't support international shipping
2. I don't have a Japan address.
3. If I bought through my proxy service, it'd be hella expensive.
But then, I tried to calculate everything, the one on CDJapan is also expensive. Because the only available shipping courier is DHL (the other couriers are on hold, because of Covid-19 pandemic).
Fortunately, one of my friends told me that she was able to borrow the address of our proxy service (we use same service) and only pay for the shipping cost later. Of course, I was excited and directly tried the website. Many tweets that I read said it was very busy and always direct them to "504 Gateway Time Out".
Thank God I didn't experience that when the time I want to order. I had to fill the form in Japanese (Damn!) so it was a very unique experience hahaha. I paid it with my virtual card number (because I don't have credit card T__T). Fortunately, everything went smoothly and I able to secure one copy.
Even though it'd come in regular size (on LP-size like the LE version), but I think the photobook itself is very precious and worth the price. Especially if you are a photobook maniac like me :P
It will officially out on July 27th, so I really hope everything will go without any trouble! I will update once I get the package!
