Great questions. Right now I'm kind of in a phase of quasi-philosophical semi-agnosticism, but just for the sake of exploring beliefs, here's my current take.

1. I see the Gods as the personalities behind natural phenomena. They exist all around us, in body and spirit. We can choose to engage with them, or we can simply exist alongside, but they are still there.
2. I think our beliefs create the rituals and symbolism that we use to connect with the Gods, but not the Gods themselves. We create many languages to express and communicate, and this includes the anthropomorphic imagery we use to imagine the Gods as more like us.
3. I think sometimes people become keenly aware of certain Gods at crucial moments in life - often when they most need to. This awareness is experienced as very personal, and the influence of the God on the person is also oftn experienced as personal interaction. But it's not a case of a God 'coming down' from somewhere to pay attention to someone - it's a case of us waking up and noticing Them.
4. I see it right now as a natural, harmonious relationship. Not something demanded or envied by the Gods, but something that can enrich life and give our experience of the world more dimensions and meaning.

So chaos_current... I hear you have nice tits?
