Hi, everyone,
Can anyone point me in the direction of a solid, accessible book that includes Aphrodite's various and sundry myths?
Historical information is welcome, but overall I'm not looking for dry academia or a lot of analysis, here. Just readable renditions of the stories that haven't had all the good parts cut out of them (read: we can skip Edith Hamilton and Bulfinch's).
General compendiums and Aphrodite-specific tomes are both welcome.
Thank you ever so.
ps: I've got Devoted To You (with Maureen Reddington-Wilde's fabulous essay) already. :)
