seeking Brighid's daughters (X-post)
I am looking for women who would be interested in participating in an "eternal flame" rotating vigil honoring Brighid. I know there are already groups that do that, but I am not affiliated with those groups. I am seeking women because I long for a woman-only experience in this particular project, not because I don't love men. :)
I am seeking 17 women (by "woman" I mean any female who is old enough to menstruate) who are devoted to Brighid (which means they know who she is, have done some research, and wish to spend some significant time getting to know her better) and would be willing to commit to one 24-hour period every 20 days, in which they will set aside as much time as is reasonable to tend a flame for this Goddess. (Yes, you will have to burn a candle, so if you are unable to do so, even due to circumstances beyond your control, please don't apply.)

There will be an online component, but most of it will be personal, and I ask only that the women be willing to take responsibility and honor their commitment. Women from any part of the earth can feel free to contact me. Feel free to pass this mail on if you know someone who would be interested. I am happy to answer any questions you might have, even if I am in *no way* Brighid's Emissary.
