Service work specifically hospital
I hope this post is considered on-topic.
I am considering volunteering with our local hospital's Pastoral Care department as a Pagan clergy member. I've not done this before, nor has anyone in the group that I am from, so I don't have a model for this. Just to be clear, this is my "doing my homework" phase, so I'm trying to find what others' experiences have been to aid in my planning and research.
Has anyone here done this before? If so, what was it like? Random hours in an "on-call" sort of thing? Specific "office hours"? Any advice or warnings?
