desire to get "out there"
First post :) has taken me a while.
The reason for this post being after six years of content solitary work i suddenly have the urge to "get myself out there" as it were and start practicing with others.
I have never personally known another pagan(that i know of), never-mind worked with one so am a bit lost as to where to start.
Now I'm not planning on barging up to anyone with a pentacle on shouting "can i join your coven" which is highly presumptuous as A) they may not be a pagan B)that would be completely embarrassing and C) who says every pagan belongs to a coven anyway?
So really I'm looking for a lesson on etiquette about how to find groups, and how to approach them when i do.
I'm sure a lot of people have been in the same situation, and one of my main concerns is what will be expected from me when i join the group. Of course this all depends on what type of group it is, whether informal moots or workshops right up to open circles and rituals.
