Here's a question that I think is the root behind the frustration of half the pagans out there: how the hell do you find fellow, like-minded nonfluffies with whom to practice?
A member of my very small circle moved away, and it appears she was the lynchpin for the group. My attempts to schedule ritual have been met with apathy, to put it mildly. So I'm beginning to think that the dynamic is dead and I need to look elsewhere.
Problem is, I have no idea how to proceed. My experience with other Cleveland events is that the practitioners tend to be a bit on the scary side. My life is incredibly busy (working fulltime, last year of law school), so I don't have a lot of time to devote to it. I've never had any formal training, so I'm not about to proclaim myself a priestess and gather up the other lost sheep in the area.
What do people do? I'm at a loss.
