BIG weekend...

Friday:
Left work at 1:30 and realised I hadn’t given the correct directions to my work for Nikki to pick me up which meant I was walking up and down Cambridge st trying to see if I could find her car parked somewhere. Lucky for me she was running late so I saw her car as she was driving. We filled up with fuel, checked the tires, and rushed back to Nikkis place so she could pick up her mobile and off we were. We ended up leaving Melbourne around 2:30pm and it was all Hume H/way after that. The trip took about 4hrs but of course when you have company it seems to take no time at all.
We arrived at Nikkis parents house, unpacked and relaxed. We then went out to dinner with her family at a local restaurant (which they paid for…niiice). We drank quite a lot of wine and champagne and ate a huge meal. After dinner Nikki her brother Neil and I went to some Irish pub wher we causght up with a few more of Nikkis friends and Neils friends. Most of them smoked so we went outside where it was freaking freezing. Stayed there drinking til about 3am and then walked back to the house.

Saturday: Woke up at 7am and ate breakfast. Nikki had an appointment at 8am at a hairdressers so I just stayed at the house and went back to sleep and woke around 11. Apparently she fainted at the hairdressers. Still not sure if it was due to still being a lil drunk from the night before or the fumes from the hair dye. Went into town for a spot of shopping. Tried to find a design for a dress. I have decided that I will be making a dress for the Oaks day spring racing. Couldn’t find anything but I did happen to find my sisters Christmas gift (Thank gawd!). Then back to Nikkis. She was wanting to take her friends dog for a walk but I just felt like chilling so I sat on the couch and watched Monty Python and I feel asleep for a few hours. Woke up to Nikki asking what I wanted to drink at the roof top party so I just decided to get up. Apparently I looked cute all asleep and curled up on the couch and no one wanted to wake me.
Went to the shops and bought Vodka, juice and party pies. Drove to the T&G building where we celebrated some Leah’s friend’s birthday and played party games. The best one was “Goon of Fortune”. To play you attach a goon bag a cloths line and spin. Where the bag stops the person closest must take a large swig. The game only lasted 3 spins before the bag launched it self off the clothes line and onto the floor. We also played our own game of twister. I might have won but Nikki thought it would be funny to put something down my crack hehe. We then went down to Globe or Global which is the local night club. Shit music, but we were all pretty much shit faced any way. We danced all night and drank black widows (shot glass-black sambuca, strawberry liqueur).
Danced with a guy called Dave who had side burns that looked almost like lamb chops. We kept making fun of a guy who had slick hair that was parted-it was the gelled “I actually do have hair” comb over”, cause he did have hair but it just looked funny. So Dave created a widows peak and I borrowed a friend’s hair lackey and created a front/side high sitting pony tail. We looked great as a pair!! Hehehe. My friends Nikki got with a guy whose friend we were talking too and he realised that I was the chick with the pony tail. So basically I left an impression on Albury (don’t know if that was a good one though).

Sunday:
We were kicked out of the place at 5am when it closed and so we headed back to the rooftop. We climbed to almost the top of the building and watched the sun rise. Nikki managed to pick up at the bar and so she watched the sun rise with him and then they drove off for some fun alone. Leah (who had dressed into her PJs), Dave and I then went round to Daves place and chilled there for a while. We drew with chalk all over the walls of his house mates room. Apparently some connection with Leah. I assume it wasn’t all that good. We listened to some music and then Leah and I left Dave to sleep-basically because we were tired as well but we were distracted by hunger half way to her house so we diverted to Maccas and ate hash browns. On the way back to hers we stoped off at the local markets and then onto her place. We tried to call Nikki but her phone kept ringing out. Finally we got onto her and she said she would pick me up in 10mins to take me back to her place. Leah and I waited around and waited and waited so to occupy ourself we picked up rubbish and placed it onto the cars of people who had attended the party but had left there car at hers. It was fun. We tried to call Nikki again but she didn’t answer so I slept for an hour at Leahs while I waited for Nikki and eventually she called me to say she was in the carpark. She said she didn’t remember telling leahs was going to be 10mins…but I guess she had things on her mind. We got back to Nikkis and I was wide awake but Nikki was all tired. I tried to quiz her about what happened but she kept falling asleep so I thought that was a good cue for me to sleep as well. Woke up about 1:30 and packed my bags, ate a lamb roast at 2pm and we left for Melbourne at 4pm.

All in all the weekend was a fun filled and relaxing weekend away. I think I will be doing the trip again very soon, maybe even this weekend
