retail therapy

Due to a mishap with some of my clothing and shoes (Ill say "mishap" and leave it at that), Ive been on a quest to soothe the loss of some of my items. Last summer I finally found a pair of platform mary jane shoes that I liked so I bought them. During the "mishap" the heal on said shoes was broken off. Yesterday, I took it down to the shoe repairman. He basically looked at me, laughed, and told me my shoes were shot. At this moment the reality set in and I was pissed. I couldnt recall the stupid online store I had bought my shoes from!!!!

I decided to drive to Appleton and see if I could find new shoes. I ended up buying too much stuff and spending about $250 dollars and still had not found any shoes. When I got home I started looking for shoes online and stumbled across the website I bought the shoes from. Of course, they no longer had them. I then started looking other places only to find the shoes I only paid $30 for retailed at $120 other places. Yeah, I was pretty upset after that too.

To soften my anger I decided the only thing I could do was buy 2 more pairs of shoes and spend even more money that doesnt exist to me.

I feel better.

Yesterday, someone told me I look like Annie Lennox. I kid you not. Its very clear I look nothing like her.
