JYJ "The Beginning" Singapore Showcase
For the 1st time, I bought tickets for a showcase.. How can i miss the chance of 'meeting' JYJ? (JYJ = Jaejoong, Yoochun, Junsu, 3 out of 5 from Dong Bang Shin Ki). Partners-in-crime were Dixie and Yanqin.
Got to prebook the tickets online, on 4 Oct. And it was a major hectic process. Why? Prebook started at 7pm. By 6.50pm, the website started to crawl. Thousands of people were trying to access the booking site. Within 3mins, the 100 VIP tickets (S$248) were gone. Of coz, i am not going to purchase the VIP ticket la~.. The site was real slow.. I kept refreshing, and it was only until 8.04pm then i managed to book my precious 3 x S$100 Category C ticket. *wipes sweat*

Time: 8pm
Venue: Singapore Expo Hall 3
We reached Expo at around 6.50pm.. i think? And was greeted with the huge crowd..
Probably you can't see clearly from this photo. But the queue was all the way from Hall 3 to Hall 6 (Hall 6 is the one nearest to MRT), at the carpark.
We didn't really want to queue as we felt that there is no need to since we already got seat number. Waited at the aircon area in Expo instead. To 'merge' with the crowd.. we bought the red lightstick + poster for S$10. Abit ex i know.. but, we almost combed Bedok Central after we had our dinner and can't find red lightstick..
Moral of the story: Don't get them at the last minute..
The showcase was delayed as the boys were still doing rehersals and sound checks at 8pm. Finally, at around 8.15pm, the queue starts moving. However, due to security checks (no food/drinks allowed) and they let people in by batches, it took roughly 1hr before everyone settled in the hall.
Surprised to see a green lightstick stapled with a piece of paper on our seat.
And this is the end result.. :) Loving the red ocean + the special "W" formation.
They sang a total of 6 songs namely:
- Empty
- Be the One
- Be my Girl
- Sungkyunkwan Scandal's OST song, Chajatta (Found You)
- Ayyy Girl
- Empty Remix version
The last song was Empty Remix version. Everyone was so high as JYJ asked everyone to stand and jump. Typical concert movement i know, but.. i am too stiffed to jump la.. lol! I just stand and wave my green and red lightstick. ^ ^ The whole showcase only lasted for about 1 hour. No encore.. :( But Yoochun said they might come back next year for a concert.. Well.... I love how Yoochun shouted "Always Keep The Faith". It's a slogon for DBSK fans ever since they spilted.. (DBSK was originally a 5 member grp).

*Why "W" formation? Because Cassiopeia is the name of their fanclub. And there is a distinctive "W" shape formed by five bright stars (the 5 members). Interesting ya?
